SLAMEN, Aero-MRO set for strategic partnership to stop capital flight

As part of the efforts to help the country conservse her foreign reserves and develop her Civil Aviation, the Society of Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers of Nigeria (SLAMEN) has set to embark on a strategic partnership with the first and leading Maintenance Repair Organization in Nigeria, the Aero-MRO facility.

This was made known by the President of SLAMEN, Engr. Mubarak Haladu during the week when he and the General Secretary of the society, Engr Sheri Ayuba Kyari paid a courtesy visit to the management of Aerocontractors, operators of the MRO facility.

The SLAMEN members were received by the Managing Director, Aerocontractors, Captain Ado Sanusi and Chief Financial Officer,CFO Mr.Charles Grant, at Aero MRO facility in Lagos.

Speaking during the courtesy visit, Mubarak said SLAMEN is ready to partner with Aerocontractors to give a positive equity to Nigerian Economy and stop Capital flight

He further said that SLAMEN is equally interested in the development of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Industry by seeking security and protection for the Nigerian Aircraft Maintenance Engineers Profession towards the growth and development of the profession and participate positively to improve the Nigerian Civil Aviation Industry.

In his response, Captain Sanusi promised that the management of Aerocontractors MRO is ready to partner with SLAMEN and give all the necessary support and financial assistance towards the development of its members and the industry at large.
