President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will on Sunday receive the All Progressives Congress (APC) certificate and flag as its Presidential candidate for the 2027 elections.
This was made known on Saturday in a statement by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy Bayo Onanuga.
Onanuga added that the event will be done by the APC Presidential Primaries Elections Committee at Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre Abuja after the collation of the primary election’s results nationwide
“The Presidential Primary Elections Committee will present the certificate and flag at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre in Abuja after nationwide collation of the primary election results,” the President’s spokesman said.
According to Onanuga those billed to attend the event included all APC governors, members of the National Executive Committee, the National Working Committee, and the National Assembly, along with party stalwarts.
