Dr. Gbenga Olowo, President, Aviation safety Round Table Initiative ( ART)

As the storms gather over planned concession of four airports in Nigeria, a pressure group in the aviation industry in the country, Aviation Safety Round Table Initiative (ASRTI), is set to organise a webinar conference where stakeholders would express their informed interventions and promote genuine conversations that would lead to agreeable processes towards the development of the our airports.

The webinar conference will hold on August 13, 2020 at 11.00hours.

According to the Chairman, ART Webinar Organizing Committee, Engr. Frank Ogochukwu, the conference has become necessary because of apprehensions by industry stakeholders regarding the process so far.

Adding, “ASRTI in its earlier press release believed the time was ripe to bring informed interventions and promote genuine conversations on the Nigeria Airport Concession process by engaging distinguished professionals, experts and stakeholders on the theme: “Nigeria Airport Concession, How Far So Far?”

“Leaders of thought will make submissions on the following:

Perspectives on Airport Concession; Airport Concession: FAAN Experience; Concept Notes on Airport Concession; Airport Concession: An Investor’s Perspective; Airport Concession: Business Perspective; Possible implications of concession on joint user airports; Airport. Concession: Corporate Experience and Airport Concession; regulator’s viewpoint.
