In an online statement issued by the Head, Admin/ Public Relations, WakaAbout Africa, Deborah Adesina said the event is scheduled to hold at NECA Building Alausa in Lagos.
Adesina said that the event which promises to be an epoch-making is organised by the publication to commemorate its 5th Anniversary.
She explained that the conference which has as its theme, “ICT & Finance as Catalyst for Tourism and Culture in a Diversified Economy” will bring a range of policy makers, including professionals and stakeholders in the ICT, Finance, Tourism& Culture sectors under one roof to interact and share experiences.
The Head of Admin/Public Relations further explained that Managing Directors /Chief Executive Officers of banks and their counterparts in Telcos, Director Generals of agencies, captains of industries, Ambassadors and Cultural Attaches of Foreign Missions in Nigeria, royal fathers, as well as tourism and culture investors and enthusiasts, including high net worth business men will converge to discuss the key areas for stimulating new investments opportunities.
Speaking on the forthcoming event, the Publisher/Editor-In-Chief, Chinyere Nwanma Ogidi, said the participants will also use the occasion to forge warm relationships between them and thus realise and appreciate the interrelatedness of the varied sectors and their importance in diversifying Nigeria’s economy.
She added that a wide range of activities including corporate exhibition, an elaborate conference session, panels of Discussion and networking segments have been planned for the day, adding that there will also be a pot-pouring of entertainments segments involving cultural displays and showcase of investment potentials in the sector.
She hinted that Director of Public Affairs, Nigeria Communications Commission (NCC), Mr. Tony Ojobo, will be the Keynote Speaker at the conference, while Chief Mike Ahamba, SAN will chair the event and Alhaji Lai Mohammed, Minister of Information & Culture will be the Special Guest of Honour.
Also,a range of professionals in the ICT and finance sectors has also been selected to make the discussion segments both engaging and rewarding.
