Management of United Nigeria Airlines (UNA) said the suspension placed on a secion of its operations has been lifted.
The announcement was made in a letter issued by the management of the airline and made available to African Business Travel News ABTNEWS on Friday December 1,2023.
the letter also dated December 1, 2023 read in part: “We are pleased to announce the lifting of the suspension placed on our ‘Part G’ operations
specifications which affected one of our aircraft.”
The aiirl8ne which expressed its sincere gratitude to its loyal passengers for standing with it during period the suspension lasted, reiterated its commitment to safety at all times.
“We want to express our deepest gratitude
to you for keeping faith with us and for your understanding during this period.
Safety is at the core of United Nigeria Airlines’ values and we take our commitment to
passenger safety very seriously,” the statement said.
The management of the airline however tendered unreserved apologies to its customers for inconvenience the disruption of the airline’s operations might have caused them even as it promised to resolve the backlog of travel schedule.
“We are aware that every time our schedule is disrupted, it is usually a very painful experience for you and for us as well because we know and understand that it affects travel plans and diminishes your trust in the reliability of our operations.
“We are deeply sorry for the inconvenience this has caused you and would want to reassure
you that our dedicated team is working around the clock to resolve the backlog of flights
schedules because we understand the importance of your travel plans and the trust you place in us,” the airline added.
Looking forward to continuing to enjoy the patronage of its old and potential passengers, UNA said, its dedicated team of customer support personnel is available to attend to customers’ enquiries.
“While we continue to count on your patronage, kindly be informed that our customer
support team is always available to assist with any inquiries and provide you with all the
support you need to make your travel experience seamless,” the statement reads.
