Chairman, Ekiti Central Senatorial district of All Progressive Congress (APC), Chief George Ojo has commended the one of the party’s aspirants in the forthcoming 2018 governorship election in the state, Dr Wole Oluyede for “his leadership quality and philanthropic act”.
Chief Ojo gave the commendation during the Ekiti Central Senatorial meeting held at Aramoko, Ekiti West Local Government Area
The Chairman who described Oluyede as ‘a leader to reckon with’ commended the aspirant for ‘the time to time financial assistance rendered to the District.
He therefore called on other aspirants to emulate Oluyede by ‘start propagating their ambitions from their wards, local governments, and senatorial districts.
He noted that any aspirant who acts on the contrary jeopardises his ambition.
“It is a failure for an aspirant to fail to identify with his Ward, Local Government and Senatorial district adding that’ no matter the donation made by such aspirant at the state ,the aspirant will fail”.
Ojo who explained that Ekiti Central Senatorial District is yet to secure a permanent office space said ‘Office Space is essential for regular meetings of the district.”
While explaining efforts made by the district to secure an office accommodation, Chief Ojo explained effort has been affected by financial constraints.
In his response, Dr Oluyede promised to fulfill all his agenda to Ekiti, if elected in 2018. He assured that he would do all the needful to promptly support, in the provision of necessary facilities in the state.
