Management of Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has debunked the claims by some people that there was disruption in operations at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos on, Tuesday, October 3, 2017.
Spokesperson of the airport authority, Mrs Henrietta Yakubu who called on the general public to disregard a trending video clip on the purported disruption of passenger facilitation in the airport as malicious, added that it was done by mischief makers to tarnish the good work of FAAN management.
“The Authority hereby dispels the trending malicious video clip aimed to create panic and tarnish the reputation of our airports by mischief makers.noted it was done to tarnish the good work of the authority,” Yakubu said.
She, however called on the general public to always visit FAAN social platform where more information on the aviation agency is readily available whenever they are in doubt.
“The Authority would like to use this medium to inform they general public that the should always refer to the Authority’s website (www.faan.gov.ng) or social media platforms, Facebook Page (FAAN OFFICIAL) or Twitter Handle (@FAAN_OFFICIAL) where authentic news and updates are readily accessible,” she appealed.
