As the world marks the beginning of a new calendar year, 2018, today, the Ekiti State All Progressive Congress (APC) governorship aspirant, Dr Wole Oluyede has prayed for God’s guidance,

Noting also that elections into the position of the governor of the state would be conducted this year, 2018, Oluyede  urged leaders and people of  Ekiti State  to work towards holding peaceful, free and fair elections.

In a statement from the Directorate of Wole Oluyede Campaign Organization, the APC governorship aspirant in Ekiti State said, “as the year 2018 begins, I greet Nigerians and pray that God Almighty who is our guardian and saviour will continue to be with us and make the New Year a success and blessing for all.”
He also prayed for the success of President Muhammadu Buhari administration.

Dr. Oluyede who in the mood of the New Year celebrations prayed for APC to come out triumphantly at the forthcoming governorship elections in Ekiti State,  insisted that this would enthrone true democracy in the state.

He said: “I pray for the emergence of true democracy at the forthcoming governorship election in the state.”

The aspirant added that his victory at the elections will be an implementation of Ekiti Rebirth Agenda which aimed to salvage the state from its present economic woes. He therefore urged the people of Ekiti State to use their votes to actualize the victory for  APC saying, “APC  remains the only party with  the agenda that can  liberate  Ekiti people from despotic acts of the present administration.”
