Nine FAAN staffers inducted as NITAD fellows

The staffers of Federal  Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) inducted as Fellows of Nigeria Institute of Training and Development (NITAD) at Sheraton Hotels and Towers Ikeja Lagos last week

 

Nine members of staff, Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) were among about 50 professionals inducted as fellows of Nigeria Institute of Training  and Development (NITAD)

NITAD, a member of International Federation of Training and Development Organization ( IFTDO) is a professional body of learning and development practitioners registered in Nigeria to promote the science and practice of training, learning and development nationwide.

The event held at the Sheraton Hotels and Towers, Ikeja, Lagos State

The inductees from FAAN were Mrs Olabisi Olasimbo Odukoya, Dr. Mrs. Josephine  Fawehinmi, Mr. Samuel Tae Akinro, Dr. Tumbi Raifu Omisore, Dr. Ambassador (Dr.) Vivian Zaunaib Menyaga and Mrs  Elizabeth Omotoke Aminu others were Dr. Hope Bassey, Mrs Caroline Adenike Akintayo and Alhaja  Fatimah Bolanle Shutti.

In her welcome address at the well attended induction and endowment fund ceremony, President and Chairman of Council, NITAD, Mrs. Ayoade Abike Agbeyi  said the time has come for the organization to move from rhetoric to action.

Agbeyi  who said this year’s induction was a combination of two sets 2020/ 2021 noted that the event was a fulfillment of some of the promises the council made to members  of the institute while seeking their mandate to serve.

She therefore urged the newly inducted fellows of the institute to see themselves “as the Generation Next, of those that have what it takes to give the institute a pride of place in the comity of learning and development,” saying “this is a clarion call to awake the giants in us, to recreate and reposition NITAD,network, partner, collaborate and develop the affinity spirit in order to generate wealth for one another and the institute.”

Other prominent Nigerians inducted as into the fellowship of the institute on the occassion were: The Nye Udu Upata III, Eze Igbu Upata of Upata Kingdom and Chairman Ahoada East Council of Traditional rulers, His Royal Highness  Eze (Dr) Felix Enene Otuwarikpo; the Olumobi of Imobi Ijeshaland, His Royal Highness, Oba Jacob Adetayo Haastrup;  Director General, Centre of Management Development (CMD), Mr Bitrus Danharbi Chonoko and Director General, National Directorate of Employment (NDE), Mallam Abubakar Nuhu Fikpo
