The immediate past Managing Director/ Chief Executive of Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Mallam Kabir Yusuf Mohammed has lost his mother, Hajia Fatima Yusuf Mohammed,
A statement by one of her children confirmed that Hajia Fatima Yusuf Mohammed died at the age of 81 years on Christmas Day in Abuja after a protracted illness.
Her remains were laid to rest occordding to Islamic rites in Zaria, Kaduna State with the Emir of Zazzau, His Royal Highness Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli in attendance.
She is survived by her husband, children and grandchildren children.
Earliest condolence visitors included former Managing Directors of FAAN, Engr Saleh Dunoma and Capt Rabiu Yadudu as well as the immediate past Director of FAAN Aviation Security Service ((DASS), Group Capt U.S.A Sadiq (Rtd).
While condolence messages and phone calls were received from Emir of Bichi, His Royal Highness Nasir Ado Bayero, Emir of Kano, His Royal Highness Aminu Ado Bayero, Emir of Jiwa, His Royal Highness Alhaji Idris Musa.
The Managing Director/CE of FAAN, Mrs Olubunmi Kuku and others too numerous to mention also sent their messages to console the bereaved family.
