Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development
Authorities at Federal Polytechnic Ilaro, Ogun State have finalised the arrangements to confer Fellowship Award of the higher institution on the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Barrister Festus Keyamo (SAN) and two other eminent Nigerians.
The conferment of the awards which will hold on Wednesday February 19, 2025 is part of the activities lined up to celebrate the 45th Founders Day and 22nd Convocation of the foremost Federal Polytechnic.
The Registrar and Secretary of 12th Governing Council of the Ilaro Polytechnic, Mrs. Aderonke Folashade Babatola, on a podcast released on the Polytechnic’s confirmed Tiktok handle, added that the Convocation Lecture will be delivered by the Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun.

Dignitaries expected at the Convocation according to the registrar, include Visitor to the Polytechnic, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu; Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun; Minister of Education Dr. Mouruf Tunji Alausa; His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr) Kehinde Gbadewole Olugbende Asade-Agunloye IIII, The Olu of Ilaro, Members of the 12th Governing Council of the Polytechnic, the graduands and other eminent Nigerians and invited guests from all walks of life.
