In its efforts at boosting security around airports under its control around the country the Management of Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria ( FAAN ) has concluded an arrangement that would see to the arrest and evacuation of destitutes in the airport which would begin with Murtala Muhammed Airport Lagos any moment from now.
African Business Travels.net learnt that the Nigerian airport authority has arrived at the decision to rid the airport of undesirable security elements.
The decision was which was taken just some hours ago at a security meeting would also see to the arrest and prosecution of touts and any person found wandering around the airport.
The decision which is a proactive one was taken in the wake of the rising militancy in the Niger Delta area.
