Engr. Mubarak Haladu elected Vice President of SLAMEN interim executives Committee

The interim Executives Committee, Society of Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers of Nigeria (SLAMEN) has unanimously elected Engineer Muhammed Mubarak Haladu as the new Vice President of the society.

The President of SLAMEN, Engr. Chukwuma Iloeje, the General Secretary, Engr. Kyari Ayuba and other members of the interim executive committee said the choice of Engr Mubarak Haladu for the exalted position of Vice President of the society was borne out of the recognition of his sterling qualities and contributions to the society and civil aviation in general.

Engr Haladu who is expected  to bring his wealth of experience to the society,  is a holder of AMEL in the Airframe and power plant categories and multi category avionics rating from Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority(NCAA), The United States of America Federal Aviation Authority (FAA) Air frame and power plants mechanic and the European Union EASA part 66 B2 rating.

Besides his strongly diversified academic and professional qualifications, Engr. Haladu has an outstanding personality.
His honesty, niche for hard work and ability to take initiatives, have earned him great accomplishments in his career life.
Engr. Haladu has been involved in the growth and development of Nigerian civil aviation industry with over 30 years of active service in the industry with many  commendations to his honour.
He possesses strong ability to manage resources, provide effective and efficient coordination of administrative and productive functions for increased efficiency for higher returns on investment.

He has also contributed immensely in the training and development of aircraft maintenance engineers in Nigeria.

Engr. Haladu has widely consulted for, and advised some domestic and charter operators in Nigeria.
He performed certifying engineer roles in Nigeria Airways Limited and maintenance management and supervisory responsibilities at Virgin Nigeria (Air Nigeria), Spaceworld International Airline and he has been the head of aircraft maintenance at Max Air Limited since 2017.

Engineer Haladu obtained a post Graduate Diploma in Social and Management Sciences (PGDM) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Bayero University Kano (BUK) in 1996. He is a member of many professional bodies both in Nigeria and abroad. Apart from being a corporate member of Mathematical Association of America, he is also a member of Institute of Electronic and Radio Engineers United Kingdom; Institute of Electrical Engineers(IEE) UK; National Association of Aircraft Pilots and Engineers (NAAPE); Society of Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers of Nigeria (SLAMEN); Nigerian Institute of Training and Development (NITD) and a former Council member Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered)

Engr Haladu is happily married with children.
