Dana-Air … Gets commendation on Kaduna operations

Dana Air will recommence flights to Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja tomorrow.
This follows the completion and opening of the airport’s runway for air traffic after it was shut down for rehabilitations.

Speaking on the recommenced operations to the nation’s capital, the Accountable Manager of Dana Air, Obi Mbanuzuo said the airline would resume its suspended flight operations from Lagos to Abuja on Wednesday beginning with five flight per day.

‘We will commence flights to Abuja on Wednesday and will operate five daily flights from Lagos to Abuja at7.02am, 12.40pm, 15.03, 16.11 and 18.00 and return services at 9am, 10.45am, 14.25pm, 18.00pm and 19.55pm,’’ Mbanuzuo said.

Obi also urged Dana Air’s teeming guests to take advantage of its low fares and numerous customer- centric services like the self service kiosk at MMA2, pocket –friendly cab services in Abuja for Dana Miles Guests, ongoing discounts for Youth Corp members and lots more.

Meanwhile, for its exceptional service delivery and selfless contributions to the nation during its operations to Kaduna while Abuja airport runway was shutdown, Dana Air has been commended.
Making the commendation on behalf of the Kaduna Integrity Group, Chairman, Rt Comrade Abdullai Umar Ladan in a letter signed by him and which reads in parts, said: “the Kaduna Integrity Group wishes to appreciate Dana Air for its contribution to peace, tourism and security during the renovation of the Abuja and Kaduna airport. We thank you for your contribution to towards the success of the exercise and we are exceedingly grateful.’’

While reacting to the award of excellence and service delivery Dana Air’s Accountable Officer who appreciated the group for its observations and commendations also thank the Minister of State for Aviation, Senator Hadi Sirika for walking the talk, the aviation agencies for raising the bar and ensuring that issues were resolved on-time, and its amazing guests for their support and understanding, added that “Kaduna people are peace-loving and we also appreciate them for their hospitality.’’
