President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday approved the renaming of some airports after some prominent Nigerians in recognition of their individual contributions to the development of the nation in different sectors.
Buhari has also approved the constitution of Boards for the six aviation agencies in the country.
A statement by the Head, Press and Public Affairs, Ministry of Aviation, Odutayo Oluseyi said members of the boards are mostly institutional representations.
It would be recalled that the outgoing minister of Aviation and Aerospace, Senator Hadi Sirika had during his last last visit to Lagos vowed that re-organization of the Aviation sector will continue till May 29, 2023.
