Air Peace flight on air return to Benin Airport

In-line with its safety operating  procedures, the management of Air Peace Limited said its  Benin- Abuja flight experienced flight return on Monday.

In a statement by its Head of Corporate Communications, Dr. Ejike Nduilo, the airline said the Captain of the flight took the decision to return to base In-line with the safety procedure of the airline.

Nduilo confirmed that the aircraft landed safely at the Benin Airport where the passengers disembarked normally.

“This is to inform the public that our 12:50pm Benin-Abuja flight returned to Benin due to a technical snag. The return to base was a necessary safety procedure.
“The aircraft landed in Benin and passengers disembarked normally,” he said.

The image maker who affirmed that the airline’s maintenance team is already looking into the cause of the snag, assured that a another aircraft has been deployed to airlift the passengers to their destination with minimal disruption.

“while our maintenance team are currently troubleshooting the cause of the snag.
“We are deploying replacement aircraft to Benin for us to mninimize the disruptions and ensure passengers continue their journeys as soon as possible,” he said

The Airline has therefore appealed for the understanding of the passengers affected and others whose flights will be delayed as a result of this unforeseen development, adding, “Air Peace restates its commitment to upholding safety standards.”
