…says CEO remains innocent

The management of Air Peace Limited has assured the general public that the legal proceedings against its Chairman/Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Barrister Alex Onyema and Chief of Finance and Administration, Mrs Ejiro Eghagha by the Department of Justice, United States of Americ will not in anyway affect the safety, reliability and day to day running of the airline.

A statement signed and made available to African Business Travel News (ABTNEWS) by the management of the West African leading airline said its dedicated and focused staff remain steadfast to offer the public best aviation experience on all its routes.

“We want to reassure the public that these legal proceedings will not impact the safety, reliability, or day-to-day operations of Air Peace. The dedication and focus of our staff remain steadfast as we continue to provide you with the best aviation experience in Nigeria and beyond,” the airline assured.

Urging the public to note that the legal proceedings has been on for over years, said: “Dr. Onyema and his legal team have consistently cooperated with authorities throughout this process, and Air Peace continues to operate without disruption, upholding our commitment to delivering top-notch services to our valued customers.”

The airline which said it is not unaware of the concerns of Nigerians over the legal proceedings, submitted that the dou of Onyema and Eghagha remain innocent since they are only alleged in the case and that they will be exonerated after due and diligent legal processes.

“It is essential to emphasize that both Dr. Onyema and Mrs. Eghagha remain innocent and these are mere allegations, and the case is still in court. Our legal team is fully engaged with the matter and is working tirelessly to ensure that justice prevails. We remain confident that, through due process, the truth will be revealed, and our CEO and co-defendant will be exonerated,” the statement assured.

Thanking its customers and flying public for their continued support and understanding during this time, and the airline reassured its ommittiment  to serving them with excellence and integrity.
