The Comptroller of Immigration, Murtala Muhammed International Airpor Lagos Command of Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) Kemi Nandap has warned personnel of the service against engaging in an act of compromise that may tarnish the good image of the service just as she urged pilgrims to be good ambassadors and pray for their country in the holy lands.
Nandap who was recently promoted Assistant Comptroller General gave the charge during a routine inspection tour of the hajj terminal as pilgrims prepare to depart for the holy lands in Mecca and Medina, Saudi Arabia.
The Immigration boss who reiterated the high level of intolerance for any act of indiscipline in the service, warned that any officer found compromising or engaging in any unethical practice during the operation would be made to face full wrath of the law in accordance with the regulations of the Service.
Speaking to the pilgrims, Nandap pleaded with them to be good ambassadors and pray for their country during the pilgrimage.
