The management of Aero Contractors airline has refuted the rumours flying on social media about its airfare promotion of fourteen thousand Naira (N14,000) on Abuja – Kaduna route.
The airline in a statement made available to African Business Travel News (ABTN) on Friday urged its customers to ignore the rumour saying it doesn’t operate scheduled flight on the route.
“This rumour started spreading on various social media after bandits on Wednesday night, ambushed an Abuja -Kaduna train, causing unprecedented panic in the Kaduna metropolis.
We are using this medium to inform the entire public that Aero had earlier suspended operations on that route. We urge our customers to ignore such rumours and get regular updates regarding our routes and fares via our website www.flyaero.com ,” the oldest private airline in Nigeria stated.
The airline however assured its teeming population of customers that it will continue to maintain its safety records and other qualities it is known for.
“Aero will continue to maintain its safety records, innovative products and efficient services to our esteemed customers,” the statement added.
