Minister of Aviation, Senator Hadi Sirika has lamented with great sadness the passing away of Argentine Minister of Transport, Mario Meoni who died in a auto- crash on Friday.
In a message posted on his confirmed tweeter handle this afternoon, Sirika who is currently observing the Ramadan Fasting, said he was sadden with the news of the death of Meoni who he recently had a fruitful bilateral discussion to sign an Air service agreement to connect Nigeria (Africa) directly with Argentina.
The tweet: “Just received the sad news of the passing away of the Argentine Minister of Transportation in a car crash. 12 days ago in Buenos Aires, we held a fruitful bilateral discussion to sign an Air service agreement to connect Nigeria (Africa) directly with Argentina (South America)😩”
Reuters reported that the Argentine Transport Minister, Mario Meoni died late on Friday in a traffic accident about 110 kilometers (70 miles) west of Buenos Aires.
The accident occurred when Meoni was driving alone during a storm to Junin, his home city.
