A leading commercial bank in Nigeria, Access bank PlC has donated office furniture and fittings to the Murtala Muhammed International Airport,,(MMIA), Lagos, Command of Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS).
Speaking at the commissioning of the donated materials at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport terminal building, Executive Director, Retail Banking of Access Bank, Victor Etuokwu commended Nigeria Immigration Service, at the airport saying that the bank was prompted to upgrade facilities at Immigration offices at the airport because of the efficient management of the Command.
Etuokwue who commended the Comptroller, Lagos Airport, Abdullahi Musa for the way he was transforming the Command, noted that even the officers and men at the airport are happy because of Comptroller’s style of leadership.
“The role of Immigration is very critical for the country and this Command is efficiently carrying out this their responsibility. At Access Bank, we support good things that have national interest and that is why we want to identify with what is happening here. We are happy with what we are doing. You have very credible personnel; officers and men who are happy doing their jobs,” he said.
Also speaking at the commissioning, event. the Assistant Comptroller General in – charge of Zone A, Nigeria Immigration Services, Mr Muhammed Alfa thanked the management of Access Bank for the donations and particularly for the commendations passed on the officers and men of the command.
He opined that if other corporate bodies in the private sector could emulate the good gesture of Access Bank at discharging their Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR) se
