The death has occurred in Akure, Ondo State of Mrs. Rosemary Adenimorinle Adedoja nee Ige.

Late Mama Adedoja died peacefully at her residence, No 71, Oyemekun Road, Akure on June 8, 2018 at the age of 85 years.

A reliable family source told African Business Travel News (ABTN) that her remains would be buried tomorrow after a funeral mass holding by 10 am at Sacred Heart Cathedral, Ondo Road, Akure.

She was born in Ogotun Ekiti on October 9, 1934 to the family of late Pa Moses Ige. She attended St Louis school in Ireland where she trained as a teacher.

On returning to Nigeria from Ireland, she worked at Mary Immaculate Teachers’ Training College, Ado Ekiti. She later went to work at St Louis Owo from where she came to settle at Akure and worked at St Peter’s Teachers’ Training College.

She retired in 1986.

After her retirement from public service, but not tired at impacting knowledge and giving good leadership, she worked briefly as an administrator at St Louis Nursery and Primary School, Akure.

She ventured into trading in business of foodstuffs.

A staunch catholic till death, she was married to late Gabriel Adebusola Adedoja, a prominent lawyer in the old Ondo State.

She is survived by her children, grandchildren, brother and sisters.

She would be fondly remembered by the St Louis community, her students as well as board, management and staff of Bio-Dupsy Nigeria Enterprises, publishers of African Business Travel News (ABTN) for her immense contributions towards the establishment and growth of organisation.

A woman of prayer, highly dedicated, a confirmed disciplinarian, wonderful cook, highly focused, a great helper to the poor and always generous. May God continue to light your way to eternity.
