Traditionalists charged on good conducts

Stakeholders in African culture and traditions have been charged on truthfulness, honesty, uprightness and loyalty for exemplary life worthy of emulation.
A renowned traditionalist, Chief  Noah Agbogun gave the charge in Ado Ekiti during the installation ceremony organised by Awo Onifa of Ado Ekiti, Ekiti State, the Association of Soothsayers in Ado Ekiti,Ekiti State, under the leadership of Chief Buramo Olofinsae (Araba Olofin) and the secretary of the Association, Chief Idowu Julius Agbongbon.

Agbogun at the ceremony which came up at Araba Temple,  Afao Road, Ado Ekiti, was installed with the chieftaincy title of Olori Isobo- The head of The Ibibio In Ekiti State.
Chief Buraimoh Olofinsae who extolled the great virtues of newly installed leader said Agbogun’s good virtues qualified him for the title.
Chief Olofinsae said: “Certain qualities are measured of individual traditionalist before conferring a title on such person. We are mirrors in the society; our behaviours, attitudes, composure matter everywhere.
People watch our conducts, that is why we are conscious of our behaviour
Noah Agbogun is conferred with a great chieftaincy title today;  great in the sense that all the Ibibio traditionalists  (Isobo) in Ekiti is under him. He got the title based on his humility, dedication ,hardwork  and most importantly, truthfulness, agility and honesty which he displays while performing his duty.’’

Chief Agbogun who expressed appreciation to Ekiti Community for recognising his good conducts,  promised to use the position to promote
African tradition and culture and for the benefits of  his people and Ekiti community in general.
