Udiroko festival: Oluyede felicitates with Ewi, Ekiti people

An All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship aspirant, Dr Wole Oluyede  and Ekiti Rebirth Campaign Organization (ERCO)  have congratulated the Ewi of Ado Ekiti, Oba Dr Rufus Adeyemo Adejugbe Aladesanmi III, Ewi-in-Council and entire Ekiti indigenes on the occasion of the celebration of  year 2017 Udiroko festival.
Dr Oluyede prayed for blissful and abundant reign for the monarch. He also wished all Ekiti indigenes many celebrations of the festival.
The APC aspirant who is noted for his support for promoting tourism  globally said, “Udiroko is a unique traditional festival that depicts the richness and value of Yoruba culture.”
He particularly commended Oba Adejugbe

and his council on  the fatherly and traditional roles demonstrated at ensuring that the rich Yoruba Cultural heritage is promoted during the festival.
Udiroko is an annual traditional festival held in Ado Ekiti. It is usually a time  sons and daughters of the ancient town home and abroad come together to pray for the development of their community while they also showcase their rich cultural heritage.

This year celebration of the  Udiroko festival would be held   on Saturday August. 26,  2017.
