FAAN urged to improve on signage, airside markings, shuttle bus services at Lagos Airport 

 

The management of Federal  Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has been advised to improve on the quality of signage, airside ramp markings, shuttle bus services among other operational facilities at Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos

The advice was offered by represwntatives of  International Airlines Association of Nigeria (IAAN) operating  at the Lagos Airport.

The airline representatives who raised a number of operational concerns, including inadequate signage related to the ongoing landside construction works, insufficient lifts, shuttle bus challenges, and issues with airside ramp markings affected by the ongoing airside construction activities also sought greater support to enhance passengers experience at the nation’s busiest gateway airport.

They raised the operational concerns on Thursday during a meeting with the Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection, Mr. Henry Agbebire

The meeting was part of efforts to strengthen collaboration and improve service delivery at the airport

Speaking at the meeting which  provided both parties with the opportunity to discuss issues of mutual benefits, Agbebire stated that tthe meeting was aimed at fostering a stronger working relationship between the Department of Protocol and Passages, and airline operators.

The FAAN Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection assured stakeholders that all complaints and observations raised during the meeting would be carefully reviewed with a view to improving service delivery and operational standards not only at the Lagos Airport but across all FAAN controlled airports.
