Beginning from December 5, 2025 United Nigeria AAirlines UNA) will commence scheduled flight operations linking Lagos-Ilorin and Abuja airports.
it has also set to spread its wings to Ekitu and Anambra States airports.
The development were contained in a press statement signed by the Public Relations Officer of the airline, Mr. Chibuike Uloka, mnipr.
He said the flight which will originate from the Murtala Muhammed Airport Domestic Terminal Two (MMA2) on December 5, 2035, will stopover at Tunde Idiagbon Airport Ilorin before proceeding to its final destination at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja, is a strategic mission of the airline to get every Nigerian city covered.
“The commencement of direct flight operations from Murtala Muhammed International Airport Terminal 2 (MMA2), Lagos and Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja to General Tunde Idiagbon International Airport, Ilorin, another strategic step in our mission to unite more Nigerian cities with reliable and accessible air travel,” Uloka said.
This expansion, according to the airline’s spokesman, underscores the commitment of the United Nigeria Airlines to strengthening domestic mobility, deepening national integration, and making air travel more convenient for businesses, families, and visitors across the country.
He added, “United Nigeria Airlines looks forward to serving Ilorin and making a meaningful contribution to the state’s social and economic development. With every new destination, we reaffirm our mantra of Flying to Unite—bringing Nigerians closer to opportunities, culture, and commerce.”

In a similar development, the statement statesd that the airline is set to commence direct scheduled flights operations from Lagos Airport to Ekiti Agro-Allied International Cargo Airport on December 10, 2025.
“We are also excited to announce the further expansion of our network with the commencement of direct flights from Murtala Muhammed International Airport Terminal 2 (MMA2), Lagos, and Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, to the Ekiti Agro-Allied International Cargo Airport starting December 10, 2025.
“Also scheduled direct flights from Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport, Kano, to Chinua Achebe Airport, Anambra, will begin on December 15, 2025, in line with our mission to unite travellers across Nigeria with their destinations conveniently.” Uloka said.
