Preparatory to the take-off of the Gateway International Agro-Cargo Airport, Ogun State governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has appointed three consultants to man the aviation sector in the state.
The announcement was made on Tuesday in a statement signed by the Secretary to Ogun State Government, SSG, Mr. Tokunbo Talabi.
According to the statement, the experts appointed to take responsibility for specific areas in the fast developing aviation sector in the State are: Former Managing Director/ CEO, Nigeria Air, Capt Dapo Olumide – Consultant on Airport Management; Former Acting Director General of Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) and a Director at Air Peace, Engr. Benedict Adeyileka – Consultant on Regulatory Matters (Aviation) and Immediate Past Managing Director/ CEO, Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA), Engr Mohammed Odunowo – Consultant on Aviation.
According to Talabi, “the appointments by His Excellency were based on the relevant and cognitive expertise and experience of the appointees in national and international aviation sector.”
