It was as a roll call of who is who in the aviation industry in Nigeria and diaspora today, as the Deputy General Manager (DGM) Operations Mrs Ebele Nwokoye celebrated her retirement from the service of Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), on attainment of statutory age of 60 years.
The event witnessed the presence of Director of Airport Operations Captain Mahmud, General Managers, Deputy General Managers from FAAN and other aviation agencies.
Speaking at the glamorous and well attended event held at Nigav Conference and Events Centre, Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, the celebrant was full of praises to Almighty God for sparing her life to witness the occasion in good state of health and peace of mind despite the odds of life she successfully navigated.
Nwokoye who is described as a woman of substance by colleagues, is a bilinguist l who speaks the English and French languages fluently.
She was once the Airport Council International (ACI) desk officer at Federal Airports Authority before she was transfered on promotion to the position of Deputy General Manager, Airport Operations, where she eventually rented with track record of outstanding performances.
