DGCA, Chairman Air Peace to celebrate Adurogboye at book launch

The Director General of Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority DGCA Captain Musa Shuaibu Nuhu and the Chairman  / Chief Executive Officer Air Peace will on Saturday, October 14, 2923 lead prominent personalities in the aviation, Pharmaceutical, media industry and well wishers to celebrate the the outgoing General Manager, Public Affairs of Nigeria NCAA,  Pastor Sam Adurogboye  during the unveiling of his new book.

The book titled: “Handbook on Public Relations Practice and Aviation Reporting.’’ will be presented in Lagos as Adurogboye turns 60 and retires as the Public Relations Manager of the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), where he worked from its inception in the year 2000.

A statement by the executive director SAPTCO Communication Limited, Mrs Deola Adurogboye said the event will be chaired by the Managing Director of Drugfield Pharmaceutical Limited, Pharmacist Kunle Ekundayo.
Barrister Onyema, an entrepreneur and philanthropist, is the founder of Air Peace, the fastest growing Nigeria Airline. He is also noted for his support for intellectual causes.
The Air Peace boss has accepted to be the Chief Launcher of the book.
DGCA, Captain Nuhu along with other management and staff of NCAA will grace the occasion
A former Director General of NCAA, Dr. Harold Demuren is also being expected at the occasion.
Several key stakeholders from the Aviation industry agencies, airlines, academia, allied aviation services providers, Christian community, where the author is deeply rooted, family members and friends are expected to grace the occasion and launch the book.
The 16-chapter ‘Handbook on Public Relations Practice and Aviation Reporting’ is a product of years of research and the professional experience of Adurogboye,  a seasoned and an award-winning media manager and public relations practitioner. In putting together the book, Mr. Adurogboye seeks to enhance the professional proficiency of media and public relations practitioners, aviation lawyers, students etc.
Presented in elegant prose and rich in perspectives, the book tackles topics such as: What is not Public Relations; Public Relations and Marketing of Bad Product; PR as a Management functions; My Experience; Media Relations; Bilateral Air Service Agreements (BASA); Aviation Reporting; Role of the Nigeria College of Aviation Technology (NCAT), My Field Experiences, among others.
The book is published by SAPTCO Communication Limited, a PR firm and is in paper back and hard cover to take care of all classes of readers and buyers.¹
The Royal Father of the day is The Towulade of Akinale Kibgdom, Oba Femi Ogunleye, also a renowned public relations practitioner during his working life at the now defunct Nigeria Airways.
