The Managing Director, Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Mr. Kabir Yusuf Muhammed on Wednesday visited Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde and appreciated him for the supports given to the development of Samuel Ladoke Akintola Airport, Ibadan.
Yusuf was at the Oyo State Government House, Agodi, Ibadan where had a closed door meeting with the State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde.
The Managing Director who on behalf of Management and staff of FAAN expressed appreciation to the Oyo State Governor for his unflinching support towards the development of Ibadan Airport, appealed for more.
He was accompanied on the visit to the State Governor by the Commandant, Nigeria Air Defense Corps (NADC), Air Commodore Ibitayo Victor Ajiboye, the Manager Ibadan Airport, Mr. Ojo Afolabi Adedeji and other management staff of the Airport.
Yusuf who later paid a brief visit to Ibadan Airport, inspected the dualised Airport Road, Airport Staff quarters, the Bovas fuel farm tank, the newly installed 33kva power transformer, the security house under construction, the newly renovated VIP lounge, existing road side shops and the ones under construction among other facilities at the airport.
The Chief Executive of FAAN who expressed his happiness with the management and staff of Ibadan Airport, appreciated them for the tremendous works so far done and for standing with him during his brief stay in the ancient city of Ibadan.
Yusuf however promised to pay another visit the Airport as soon as possible.
