Green Africa leases aircraft from Jump Air

To strengthen some of its existing routes and sustain its growth in domestic operations in the country, a Nigerian value airline, Green Africa  has entered into a partnership with Jump Air on an additional aircraft (ATR72-500).

The  aircraft which is  on wet lease, will according to the spokeswoman of the airline,  Omolara Kehinde, offer Green Africa bridge capacity to grow its fleet to four aircraft and support the airline’s planned expansion.

“Subject to regulatory approvals, the additional aircraft is scheduled to enter into service during the third quarter of 2023,” the statement added.

Founder and Chief  Executive Officer, Green Africa, Babawande Afolabi said, “Green Africa is on track for its next phase of growth. We are pleased to welcome the aircraft from Jump Air which will help strengthen some of our existing routes while also spreading the reach of Green Africa to serve customers across the country.”

in his comment on the partnership, Accountable Manager of Jump Air, Dovydas Jurgelevicius said, “Green Africa has built a strong foundation since entering service in 2021. We are proud to support Green Africa’s expansion as it celebrates its first two years of operation.”
