An American passenger has commended personnel of Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) for the act of kindness shown to her at Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos.
African Business Travel New (ABTN) learnt that the passenger who refused to disclose her identity, expressed her surprise that Nigerians could show an act of kindness to a stranger without expecting anything in return.
Narrating her story, the passenger who arrived from United States of America (USA), last week said when she arrived at the Lagos Airport from America, after immigration clearance, she had no cash on her to pay for trolley to push her luggages out of the terminal building to where she would board a vehicle to the city, but an immigration officer offered her cash to pay for the trolley to push her luggage, without demanding for anything in return.
The passenger who was amazed by this act of kindness from a Nigerian border control personnel said she had to phone her mum in America to narrate what happened and the mother was equally surprised that such act of kindness could still be experienced in Nigeria.
You guys are writing junks one person can not validate your service to the large numbers of nigerians you people discriminate against with your ill services
I’m so glad to heard this amazing story, it’s true no matter how bad people are, beside them there must be a good person like what had happened now.And greediness or corruption it’s not proliferated everywhere it’s limited to those who engaged themselves.trained your self the way NIGERIA IMMIGRATION SERVICE,were trained.Be kind everywhere for no reason the result will be great.
