A 31 year old Nigerian lady, native of Ondo-town, Ondo State, Fehintola Funmilayo Victoria has been found wandering about at the International wing of Murtala Muhammad Airport, Lagos.
Fehintola seemed to have lost memories of her lclaimed place of birth or former residence in Nigeria.
According to information on her passport, Fehintola who was deported from Oman last Friday, March 12, 2021, arrived Nigeria at about 2pm, same day, aboard an Emirates airline flight.
The returnee whose passport number read A10173960 exhibited some traits of abnormal behaviours. She could hardly respond to questions asked by sympathisers who wanted to assist her to locate her family members for urgent care.
When asked how she came to Nigeria and her choice of staying back at the airport roaming about instead of going home to meet her family members, Fehintola alleged that she was injected with an unknown substance in Oman before she was bundled onto the Lagos flight.
Documents found on her indicated that she left Nigeria to the Middle East country on February 29, 2019.
Speakiing on Fehintola’s situation, a cargo agent at the Lagos Airport, who volunteered to care of her welfare since Saturday, Mr. Thompson Oladapo said other travelling documents found with her, indicated that the returnee received her certificate for PCR Covid-19 negative status for travel purpose on March 10, 2021 at Salalah Al Gharbia Health Center in Oman.
The documents further revealed that the certificate was signed by one Dr. Salih Al Azawi while the Consultant was Ahmed Abdul Wahab Ahmed Mohd.
Similarly, another document issued by the Dubai Health Authority via the AMC Family Medicine DXB Concourse B certified by the facility Managing Director, Bisher Josef Alazzam noted that “the patient is vitally stable, there is no obvious medical contraindication for travel at the time of discharge”. The result dated March 11, 2021. Funmilayo travelled on Emirates airlines to Nigeria via Dubai.
The result also indicated that had an ‘abnormal behaviour’. issue addressed was ‘abnormal behaviour’ was an issue mentioned in her documents.
Oladapo claimed he traveled to Ibadan on Tuesday March 16, to locate home address, No 2 Agisope, Muslim in the Oyo State capital as indicated in the data provided by the data with Nigeria Immigration Service, without success.
Oladapo who said the address could not be located in Ibadan appealed to members of the public to help locate the families of the troubled lady so that they could come to her aid and take her away from the premises of the airport as she currently sleeps on the walkway and inside buildings under construction around the International terminal building..
