Sirika appoints members of roadmap implementation team

…Appoints, re-appoints directors into aviation agencies  

Minister of aviation, Senator Hadi Sirika has appointed members of roadmap implementation team just as he appointed and reappointed directors into the managements of Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Nigerian Airspace Management Agency(NAMA).

According to a circular signed on behalf of the Honourable Minister by the Director (Human Resources Management) in the Ministry of Aviation, S.B. Mohammed, the seven member roadmap implementation team is to be headed by the former General Manager, Special Duties, FAAN, Kabir Mohammed Yusuf.

Other members of the team include, Chief of Staff to the Minister of Aviation, Engr Bayode Boluwaji, who would also oversee Aerodrome and Safety Standards in the office of the Honourable Minister. Special Assistant to the Minister on Administration, Mr Sanusi Ahmed Abbas; Special Assistant to the Minister on Air Transport management, Mariam B. Ismail; Technical Assistant to the Honourable Minister on Public Private Partnership (PPP), Mustapha Junaid; a General Manager, Engr Abdullahi Babanya and a Deputy General Manager, Mr. Francis Richard Mshebra.

Also, the minister appointed two new directors each, into NCAA, NAMA and FAAN.

The newly appointed directors are: Adamu Wakili, Director, Human Resources Management and Captain Chris Ona Najomo Director of Air Transport Regulations, NCAA.

In FAAN Engr. Ali Maina and Gold Bridget Iwinose were appointed as Director of Engineering and Company Secretary and Legal Adviser respectively.

Also at NAMA, Mr.  Pwajok  Matthew  Lawrence and Hauwa Usman Usara were appointed as Director of Operations and Company Secretary and Legal Adviser respectively.

The circular, however stated that all affected officers are requested to ensure that handing and taking over, where applicable, are to be completed by the close of work on Friday January 21, 2022.
